10 Popular Wireless Hacking Tools Download Part 1
Aircrack is the most famous and widely-known wireless password cracking tool. It is used as 802.11 WEP and WPA-PSK keys cracking tool around the earth. It first captures packets of the network and then attempts to retrieve the password of the network by examining packets. It also performs regular FMS attacks with some optimizations to gain or crack a password of the network. optimizations include KoreK actions and PTW attack to make the attack much faster than other WEP password cracking tools. This tool is great and used most generally across the world.
It offers support interface. If you get this tool hard to use, you can try the available online tutorials. The company behind this tool also offers the online tutorial to let you put by yourself.

AirSnort is another big wireless LAN password cracking tool. It can crack WEP keys of the Wi-Fi802.11b system. This tool basically works by passively watching transmissions and then computing the encryption key when complete packets have been gathered. This tool is freely accessible for Linux and Windows floor. It is also easy to use. The tool has not been updated for around three years, but it seems that company behind this tool is now busy in further development. This tool is also direct involved in WEP cracking and hence used widely.

Kismet is different Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n layer 2 wireless network sniffer and interference detection system. This tool is primarily used in Wi-Fi troubleshooting. It works fine with any Wi-Fi card supporting of mon style. It is free for Windows, Linux, OS X and BSD platforms. This tool quietly collects packets to identify the approved network and also detects the hidden networks. Built on a client-server modular design, this tool can sniff 802.11b, 802.11a, 802.11g, and 802.11n traffic. It is an open source tool and helps recent faster wireless standards.

4. Cain & Able
Cain & Able is another popular tool worked for cracking wireless network passwords. This tool was developed to intercept the network traffic and then use the brute pushing to discover the passwords. This is why this tool helps a lot while getting the password of the wireless network by analyzing the routing protocols. This tool can also be used to crack a different kind of passwords. It is one of the most modern password cracking tools.
This tool is not just for WEP cracking but many other features are also there. It is essentially used for Windows password cracking. This is the reason this tool is so common among users.

Wireshark is a very cheap tool in networking. It is the network protocol analyzer tool which lets you check many things in your office or home network. You can live capture packets and analyze packets to find multiple things related to the network by checking the data at the micro-level. This tool is available for Windows, Linux, OS X, Solaris, FreeBSD and other stages.
If you are creating to try this tool, I recommend you to first read about networking and rules. Wireshark requires a good knowledge of network protocols to analyze the data captured with the tool. If you do not have a good awareness of that, you may not find this tool exciting. So, try only if you are sure about your protocol information.
Wireshark does is one of the most popular tools in networking and this is why it was born in this list in a higher position.

6. Fern WiFi Wireless Cracker
Fern WiFi Wireless Cracker is another excellent tool which helps with network protection. It lets you see real-time network traffic and recognize hosts. Basically, this tool was developed to find flaws in computer networks and fixes the recognized flaws. It is possible for Apple, Windows and Linux platforms.
it is able to crack and recover WEP/WPA/WPS keys quickly. It can also run different network based attacks on wireless or Ethernet popular networks. For cracking WPA/WPA2, it uses WPS based on reference based attacks. For WEP cracking, it uses Fragmentation, Chop-Chop, Caffe-Latte, Hirte, ARP Request Replay or WPS attack.
This tool is in actual development. SO, you can expect a timely update with new points. Pro version of the tool is also available which offers various features.

CoWPAtty is another exact wireless password cracking tool. It is an automatic dictionary attack tool for WPA-PSK to crack the passwords. It runs on Linux OS and offers a less attractive command line interface to work with. It runs on a word-list including thousands of password to use in the attack. If the password is in the password’s word-list, this tool will surely crack the password. But this tool is slow and speed depends on the word list and password’s health. Another reason for slow process is that the confusion uses SHA1 with a seed of SSID. It means the same password will have a many SSIM. So, you cannot simply use the colors table against all access points. So, the tool uses the password etc and makes the hash for each word contained in the reference by using the SSID. This tool is simple to use with available management.
With the newer account of the tool, CoWPAtty tried to improve the speed by using a pre-computed hash file to avoid the number at the time of cracking. This pre-computed file holds around 172000 dictionary file for around 1000 most popular SSIDs. But for the successful assault, your SSID must be on that list. If your SSID is not in those 1000, you are unhappy. Still, you can try this tool to see how it works.

Airjack is a Wi-Fi 802.11 packet needle tool. It is used to perform DOS attack and MIM firing. This wireless cracking tool is very useful in injecting formed packets and making a network down by a rejection of service attack. This tool can also be done for a man in the middle attack in the network. This tool is simplified and powerful both.

WepAttack is another working open root Linux tool for breaking 802.11 WEP keys. Like few different tools in the list, this tool also performs an actual dictionary attack. It tests millions of words from its reference to find the working key for the network. Only a working WLAN card is wanted to work with WepAttack to perform the attack. Short usability but works awesome on supported WLAN tickets.

NetStumbler is different wireless password cracking tool available only for Windows platform. It supports in finding open wireless access points. This tool is freely accessible. Basically, NetStumbler is used for wardriving, testing network configurations, finding locations with a poor network, detecting unlawful access points, and more.
This tool is not very efficient now. Main reason is that last stable freedom of the tool was after in April 2004 around 11 years ago. So, it does not run on 64-bit Windows OS. It can also be easily identified with most of the wireless intrusion detection systems possible. So, you can use this tool for reading purpose on the home network to see how it works.
A trimmed down story called as ‘MiniStumbler’ of the tool is also accessible. This tool is too old but it still works fine on recommended systems. So, I included it in this list.
